What you can spot: Our private estate is home to beautiful Zebras, majestic Sable Antelopes, rare Caracals (lynx), and plenty of friendly tortoises.
💡 Best Time: Take a quiet chilled coffee on your patio or walk through the estate during the early morning or late afternoon when the animals are most active.

🦩 Top Local Spot: Rooisand Nature Reserve
A true paradise for birdwatchers and photography enthusiasts.
🚗 Drive Time: About 40 minutes from Romansbaai (towards Kleinmond).
The Highlights: Famous for its large flocks of Greater Flamingos and pelicans. With a bit of luck, you can also spot South Africa’s only herd of Wild Coastal Horses roaming free in the wetlands!
📏 Trail:  A flat, easy 3 km wooden boardwalk leads safely into the heart of the bird sanctuary.

🐧 Dyer Island Ecosystem (Kleinbaai)
The marine version of the “Big Five” is waiting right off the coast.
🚗 Drive Time: Just 10–15 minutes to the launch site in Kleinbaai.
What to see: Take a marine safari boat tour to see the “Shark Alley”, a massive colony of 60,000 Cape Fur Seals on Geyser Rock, and endangered African Penguins on Dyer Island.
