Perlemoen House is being created with its surroundings in mind — open to the landscape, connected to the ocean and quietly shaped by the natural character of Romansbaai.

Below, the Perlemoen, which is the Afrikaans name for abalone, has long been one of the hidden treasures of this coastline.

Together, they tell the story of a place deeply connected to nature.

Quietly growing beneath the waves, the Perlemoen has become a symbol of patience, resilience and the deep connection between the ocean and the land.

Its name felt like the perfect inspiration for a place where nature takes the lead.
